Everything you need to know for your sugaring
Journey
Sugaring is generally deemed safe for most clients, including during pregnancy or on your menstrual cycle. In order to maximize your sugaring results and experience, it is HIGHLY recommended that you exfoliate and moisturize the skin. We keep samples on-site, so come on in and grab a sample to being your sugaring experience. For 24 hours post sugar, we advise to avoid exercise, intimate activity, pools, gyms, hot tubs, the ocean, hot baths, etc in order to minimize infection risk.
The following contraindications will help determine if you’re a good waxing candidate:
Accutane Usage (within a year)
Uncontrolled autoimmune disorders
Use of blood thinner medications
Use of Prednisone or Antibiotics
Chemical peel within 7 days
Retinol/RetinA use within 7 days
Sunburned skin
Severe varicose veins
Chemo/Radiation therapy
Tanning bed usage within the last 24 hours
