WHAT IS MICRONEEDLING?
Microneedling involves creating controlled micro-punctures in the skin using tiny, sterile cartridges. This promotes natural healing and boosts the production of collagen and elastin, leading to rejuvenated skin.
WHO CAN DO THIS TREATMENT?
As microneedling treatments are minimally invasive, they are also safe for all skin types. Whether you are fair-skinned or dark, and even if you experience chronic breakouts, properly conducted microneedling treatments will not result in hyperpigmentation, keloid scars, or other lasting negative side effects.
WHAT CONDITIONS CAN THIS HELP WITH?
Microneedling treatments can improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, stretch marks, and rosacea.
WHEN WILL I SEE
RESULTS
Results will be noticeable after the first few days of the first treatment. In order to get the maximum results to treat your concern, your esthetician may recommend a series of 3-6 treatments.
ARE THERE ANY
CONTRAINDICATIONS
If you have any underlying condition that significantly impairs your immune system, it is a good idea to avoid microchanneling. Examples include but are not limited to active radiation or chemotherapy, uncontrolled diabetes, chronic inflammatory skin disease, keloid scarring, Accutane in the past 2 years, hemophilia or similar bleeding disorder, and pregnant or nursing. Those with stainless steel allergies should not do this treatment.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I COME FOR MAXIMUM
RESULTS
• For melasma and scarring, every 4-6 weeks; 4-6 treatments are recommended for best results
• For age management, every 4-6 weeks and then every 12 weeks for maintenance; 4-6 treatments are recommended for best results
